Attend An MBA Class:
MBA 555 Leading Organization Change
Professor: Stephen C. Harper, Ph.D. Progress Energy/Betty Cameron
Distinguished Professor of Entrepreneurship Topics for November 15, 2012:
Leading an organization – especially when it involves transforming it from what
it has been to what it needs to be - involves having clear objectives, plans
that will make the objectives a reality, and the ability to execute the plans so
the right things happen at the right time and the right way. The first part of
the class focuses on the need to set specific objectives, develop action plans,
conduct periodic reviews and to incorporate the extent the goals were achieved
and what was learned in the process into the performance review system. The need
to have “A” players in “A” positions is also stressed.
