Dr. Victoria Hansen

I received my B.S. from Marist College, my M.S.T. from the State University of New York at Albany and my Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina. Prior to pursuing my Ph.D., I worked in public accounting for 14 years; as a tax associate, senior associate and manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, as a tax manager with D’Arcangelo & Co. LLP, and lastly as a self-employed CPA. I am a licensed CPA in New York and North Carolina, and maintain a small CPA practice. My research focuses on judgment and decision-making as it relates to tax compliance and financial reporting of tax. I teach both undergraduate and graduate tax courses. Fun fact: I love to travel and am a fanatical NY Giants fan!
