Author, consultant, scholar, speaker, and mentor Laura Gail Lunsford joined the Cameron School of Business in 2016 as the director of the Swain Center. She has authored over thirty articles, case studies, and chapters on mentoring and leadership. Lunsford authored the Handbook for Managing Mentoring Programs. She is co-editor and a co-author on three upcoming books on mentoring and leadership, including the Sage Handbook of Mentoring. She was a tenured associate professor in psychology at the University of Arizona prior to coming to UNCW. Her PhD is from NC State University. Her previous administrator positions include being the first, full-time director of the Park Scholarships at NC State and the first Director of Alumni Relations at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University.
