Biography

Karen Lynden joined the faculty in 2022 and supports the International Business and Management concentration. Prior to joining the Cameron School of Business faculty, she was Lecturer at UNC Greensboro, with years of prior industry experience. Her teaching philosophy is centered on experiential and project-based learning, teaching international business and management courses at the undergraduate level. As an active member of the X-Culture non-profit leadership team, Karen the faculty advisor of the Coaching Program, a global professional development initiative, serves as Advisory Board Coordinator, and is a member of the Board of Directors. As a member of the Academy of International Business, Karen contributes to the Teaching and Education Shared Interest Group as Co-Vice Chair, Events. She is a member of the Editorial Review Board for the Cross Cultural & Strategic Management Journal and member of the Editorial and Review Board for the European Journal of International Management. Karen’s primary research interests include global virtual teams, cross-cultural team and management topics, and organizational training and development.
