Biography
Jamie Stalfort joined the faculty full time in 2023 and supports the Entrepreneurship concentration. Jamie Stalfort is a double graduate of UNCW. She received a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s degree in Business Analytics. After working in the startup world for several years, she transitioned to the Small Business and Technology Development Center at UNCW in 2019, where she provided free advice and counseling to aspiring entrepreneurs. She has helped over 350 promising businesses to launch successfully, created over 350 jobs, and helped to raise over $3 million in capital for these businesses. She currently leads Wilmington’s 1 Million Cups chapter and is certified in Economic Development Finance and Ice House Entrepreneurship Facilitation. She lives here in Wilmington with her dog, Ruby, and loves going to the beach, traveling, and is an avid vinyl collector.
