Biography
Dr. Hanson was the Chair of the Department of Accountancy and Business Law from 2004 to 2012 and has been a Professor of Law at UNCW since 1990. He was an Interim Associate Dean for the School of Business for the 2014-15 academic year. Prior to joining the faculty, he has been a Professor at the University of North Dakota, Texas Woman's University in Denton, TX, and Bemidji State University in Minnesota. He has also served as General Partner at Hanson & Gustafson, Attorneys at Law. Mr. Hanson was previously certified to practice law in North Dakota and Minnesota.
