Biography
Dr. Hunt is a professor in the Department of Marketing. He has numerous publications in the areas of consumer behavior and promotion, including articles in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, and the Journal of Business Research. Dr. Hunt has been at UNCW since 1990, and has received the UNCW Chancellor's Teaching Excellence Award, the Distinguished Teaching Professorship Award, and the Board of Trustees Teaching Excellence Award. Believing that "we are what we consume," James is a barbecue sandwich chased with a cold beer at a ball game. He enjoys discovering waterfalls, climbing lighthouses, and playing drums with crisp cymbals.
