Biography
Tracy Meyer, (Ph.D. University of Cincinnati) is a Professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Before entering academia, Tracy worked in the commercial banking industry for 15 years as a commercial credit analyst and as a sales executive and Vice President in Private Banking. Her research focuses on consumers’ perceptions of negative events that occur in the retail environment and more recently customer delight. To-date Tracy has published in outlets such as the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, the Journal of Business Research, Psychology and Marketing, and the Journal of Consumer Psychology. Her teaching interests include Retail Management, Services Marketing, Sales Management, and Marketing Research. Tracy has led student study abroad programs in Valencia (Spain), Bremen (Germany), and Perugia (Italy).
