Project 2 - Build your first Tables and Queries  (Employee Names and Compensation)


Project 3 - Additional Queries (use your Project 2 database)


  • Complete the instructions for Steps 46 to 58.

  • From the PDF you downloaded for Project 2, complete the Additional Queries portion.
  • Use your database from Project 2 as your starting Access file
  • First correct your tables for any feedback received in Entropy for Project 2. (You do not need to correct the queries).
  • Upload your completed database (.accdb) file to Entropy for Grading.
  • Again save this file for future use in Project 4.

Project 4 - Reports and Forms (use your Project 2 database)


  • Complete the instructions for Steps 59 to 94.

  • From the PDF you downloaded for Project 2, complete the Input Forms and Reports portions.
  • Use your database from Project 2 as your starting Access file
  • Note: You do NOT need to do Section A.6.4 on Additional Formatting starting on page A-50.
  • Upload your completed database (.accdb) file to Entropy for Grading.

Project 5 - Demonstrating your Access Skills (start a new database)


  • Complete the instructions for Steps 1 to 10.

  • Download this new PDF for Project 5

  • Ignore any of the optional questions.
  • This database will start from scratch and will NOT use any previous files you have created. Refer back to the Project 2 PDF for help in building the tables.
  • Upload your completed database (.accdb) file to Entropy for Project 5

Project 6 - Continue to Demonstrate your Skills (use the Project 5 database)


  • Complete the instructions for Steps 11 to 31.

  • Use the PDF you downloaded for Project 5

  • Ignore any of the optional questions.
  • Use your Project 5 database
  • Upload your completed database (.accdb) file to Entropy for Project 6
