In recent years the mobile application space has exploded in popularity, a fact which is reflected in the drastically increasing availability of both free and paid applications on a variety of platforms. In order to take advantage of this ever-growing market, Construction Imaging has developed a mobile photo capture iPhone application, called CMobile, to supplement their content management solution offerings. This paper describes the original requirements and features of the application, the methodology by which design choices were tracked and implemented, reviews the issues and problems encountered, the resolutions employed and lessons learned, and concludes with a discussion of the future of the application.
