Mary Ingram currently serves as an Operations Finance Coordinator at PPD, a division of Thermo Fisher Scientific. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW), with a concentration in Accounting and a minor in Leadership Studies.
Mary began her journey with Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Operations Finance Intern in May 2025 during the summer of her junior year. Through this hands-on experience, she developed a strong foundation in financial operations and cross-functional collaboration. She later returned as an Operations Finance Coordinator during her senior year and will transition into a full-time role beginning in July 2026.
Ted Keilholz is VP Finance at Thermo Fisher Scientific (formerly PPD). He has 20 years of experience working in business finance supporting clinical research. In his current role, he oversees a global team of over 400 professionals who work directly with clients and the sales team to grow business for Thermo Fisher Scientific.
He earned his MBA from the Cameron School of Business and a BS from Cornell University.

Katie Ripley is a Senior Manager in the Operations Finance Department in the Clinical Research Group of Thermo Fisher Scientific. She started in the industry 9 years ago as a Financial Analyst, managing a portfolio of clinical trials. She worked on several important partnership accounts and managed a team of analysts as she progressed in her career. She now supports the company through new hire and department training development and delivery, financial reporting, and is a site ambassador for all interns at the Wilmington location to further develop talent.
