Lahna is a graduate of the CSB with dual bachelor’s degrees in international business and operations management; After graduation from UNCW she moved to NYC to work for MUFG in various capacities both on the trading floor and in corporate finance. During the pandemic she moved back home to NC and decided to stay local, working for Live Oak Bank as a Portfolio Manager in Sponsor Finance. More recently, Lahna has worked as a financial consultant for startup companies. Lahna currently serves as the Managing Ambassador for the US and Canada of the global nonprofit, One Young World. She is a Goalkeeper for the Bill Gates Foundation and a counselor to the Robert F Kennedy Human Rights Foundation. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, photography, yoga and acting.
