Born in Virginia, raised in New Jersey, Sarah grew up seeing containers coming in and out of the port her whole life. She knew nothing about it. Upon graduating from UNCW in 2017 with a Bachelor's in Political Science, Sarah looked to enter the field of Law. That did not happen. Sarah Certo has been in the Supply Chain Logistics Field since 2018. Starting as a documentation specialist for CH Powell, she has learned the ins and outs of export logistics throughout the years. From air freight to hazardous, she learned from being pushed into the deep end. Now an export supervisor for CV International in Norfolk, VA, Sara is working on her Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management and Maritime Logistics at Old Dominion University.
