Joey graduated from UNCW and the Cameron School of Business in 2009 with a concentration in finance and accounting, then earned his MSA in 2011. He began his career at Deloitte, spending four and a half years in the federal advisory practice. In late 2016 he founded J.S. Perkins Consulting, a firm that has since grown into a trusted partner to federal agencies and has generated more than sixty million dollars in lifetime sales. JSPC focuses on financial and operational risk management, strategy, and operations across the federal landscape.
Joey remains closely involved with UNCW. He serves on the UNCW Foundation Board, supports the university’s mission, and sponsors the Joseph S. Perkins Endowment in the Cameron School of Business. He also mentors students and recruits interns and full time staff from UNCW, continuing his commitment to developing future business leaders.

Chris graduated from UNCW and the Cameron School of Business in 2025 with a concentration in Finance and Marketing. He began his career with J.S. Perkins Consulting as an intern where he supported multiple internal initiatives and operational projects across the firm. Following his graduation, Chris was hired full-time and continues to contribute to JSPC's growth through his work in operations, contract management, and strategic support.
