Emily Lyons is a UNCW Cameron School of Business graduate, earning her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems in 2019 and her master’s degree in Accountancy in 2020. She is a licensed CPA in North Carolina and Georgia and is now in her seventh year with PwC as a manager in their Digital Assurance and Transparency practice. Emily specializes in security and data privacy consulting and auditing, helping Fortune 500 companies respond to major data breaches and navigate complex regulatory requirements. Her day-to-day focuses on advising her clients as they design, implement, and maintain effective information security and privacy programs. Outside of work, Emily enjoys running 100 mile races through crazy places like Death Valley in the summer.
