Sean Desmond serves as President and Chief Executive Officer at nCino and is a member of the company's Board of Directors. Under his leadership, nCino expanded its market position as the worldwide leader in cloud banking, evolving from workflow pioneer to global data and intelligence leader serving more than 2,700 financial institutions worldwide. Sean's deep understanding of both financial services technology and customer success has been instrumental in driving nCino's growth from an emerging fintech company in the U.S. to a trusted global platform that powers digital transformation for banks, credit unions, independent mortgage banks, and the world's largest financial institutions.
Sean's tenure at nCino spans more than a decade, beginning when he joined the company in 2013 as Chief Customer Success Officer, where he built the global customer success organization and established frameworks for successful platform implementation worldwide. His customer-centric approach and operational expertise led to his promotion to Chief Product Officer, overseeing Product Development & Engineering globally.
Prior to nCino, Sean brings several decades of experience within global technology and financial services organizations, having successfully led delivery and field services at enterprise-scale technology companies. He spent 14 years at Informatica in various leadership roles, where he developed expertise in enterprise software implementation, data management, and customer success at scale. Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from James Madison University. His combination of technical acumen, operational leadership, and deep understanding of financial services uniquely positions him to guide nCino's continued innovation in intelligent banking solutions and artificial intelligence applications for the financial services industry. Including his professional achievements, Sean is most proud of his 26-year marriage to his wife and their four sons.
