I am an out-of-the-box thinker with experience in strategic planning in the profit and non-profit business arenas. I focus on identifying and leveraging the strengths of organizations and individuals in order to maximize potential and develop high performance individuals and teams. My professional development has led to a unique blend of scientific and business acumen. I am an experienced presenter, trainer and mentor whose customers have requested by name and given repeat business. I have worked for small biotech and consulting companies as well as large pharmaceutical companies. Good financial planning allowed me to retire after 29 years in the pharmaceutical industry to start a small consulting company with my husband, spend time making a difference in my community and traveling the world. I have helped develop and advise mentoring programs and mentored many students and professionals. My organizational board involvement includes multiple board positions including president/chair, strategic planning chair, secretary, marketing/pr, fundraising, membership and event chair roles. My style of mentoring is to help students learn how to plan their future and hone the skills to be able to take control of their future career progression. Much of this is learning how to identify and communicate your personal brand and link it to the needs of the company for which you want to work.
