Arthur Hughes, a Lecturer in Supply Chain and Co-Director of the Cameron Executive Network (“CEN”), UNCW’s business school mentorship program, has a long-standing relationship with the university. He began as a mentor in 2019, joined the CEN Advisory Council in 2022, and launched his teaching career as a part-time faculty member that same year. He brings over 30 years of executive experience from manufacturing and talent strategy to the classroom, integrating real-world challenges into his curriculum. His career includes global leadership roles in purchasing, supply chain, and supplier quality at companies such as Catalent Pharma Solutions, GKN Automotive, and Hilite International. Arthur's work focuses on applied learning, ethical leadership, and career readiness, preparing students for success in today's competitive business landscape. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Findlay.
