I am Dr. Ophelia Chapman, a business librarian at Randall Library, UNCW. I am a lifelong learner with 17 years, and counting, of experience working in higher education as a librarian. As the subject expert librarian assigned to Cameron School of Business, my role is to support faculty, staff, and students in Research Services, Teaching and Learning, Collections and Resources, and Outreach, Engagement and Relationship Building. In addition, I extend my passion for learning as an instructor at UNCW’s Honors College by teaching research and discovery & thesis preparation in business. I have expertise working with students in all business disciplines achieve their educational and professional goals. My drive for helping others always leads me to look forward to helping students with general research, market research, company research, industry research, consumer research, financial literacy, and all other disciplines in business. I am married and reside in Wilmington, NC with my family. I have two adult children and a teenager, Harold, Hathlyn and Hannah. I have lived and worked on three different continents, and I enjoy spending time with family, going on walks, cooking, and traveling.
