I would like my mentee to be aware that part of what I want to help with is the development and/or refinement of professionalism. I realize that professionalism should develop with experience "on the job" and most college students have little or no "full-time" work experience. However, it is never too early to learn how important it is to communicate well, show respect to everyone, and prioritize one's life. Additionally, I firmly believe people should put their hearts and minds into their jobs, striving for excellence. They should each do this to the best of their ability (at whatever higher or lower level that may be).
