Avi Glandon
Mr. Glandon is a Managing Consultant in the Strategy & Change Internal Practice (SCIP) of IBM’s Global Business Services organization. In this capacity, he leads teams in support of IBM executives around the world. Activities have included launching new business ventures incubated within IBM, implementing a global account program to engage IBM’s largest and most important clients, and designing a sales coverage model and go-to-market strategy for a $10B business unit. His favorite part of consulting is forming fantastic teams and working with others to develop their skills and find their passions. Prior to joining IBM, Mr. Glandon received an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business with a concentration in Strategy and Finance. Before pursuing an MBA, he worked as a Senior Outreach Associate for the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, a Washington D.C. based non-profit dedicated to advocating for the International Affairs Budget which funds the diplomacy and development work undertaken by the United States. Mr. Glandon and his family relocated to Wilmington in the Fall of 2017 for his wife’s research position in the Department of Biology and Marine Biology at UNCW. They made the move with their 18-month old daughter and rescue pit-bull named Spaghetti.
