Cameron Executive Network Mentor

Bruce Gorman

Bruce Gorman I graduated with an accounting degree from New York University in 1977. Within a few years I took a position at Berdon LLP, a major accounting firm in New York City. Working my way through the ranks, I was admitted to the partnership in 1996, and remained there until my retirement in 2017. Over the years I was involved with clients in industries including real estate, manufacturing, construction, entertainment, to name a few. I was involved in loan transactions for clients, as well as various negotiations for different aspects of their business. Additionally, I assisted numerous clients in merger and acquisition transactions, both from the buyer and seller side. My experience in forensics included detailed testing and giving expert testimony during litigation matters. I was involved in firm recruitment, both on campus and in office, for recent graduates and experienced hires. I was a guest lecturer at two universities, State University of New York at Binghamton and Washington University in St. Louis. My public speaking background includes many internal and external seminars as well as speaking at various conferences. I have always taken great joy and pride in mentoring young students and professionals, and watching so many of them become successes. I look forward to being able to make a difference in students lives at Cameron.
