Career Background: I was a senior executive with nearly 30 years of experience in the outdoor sporting goods industry, primarily in marketing, product development, and general management. Most recently, I served as Group Vice President at Johnson Outdoors, where I led the Camping and Paddling business units. Throughout my career, I have worked with leading outdoor brands including Jetboil, Old Town Canoes and Kayaks, Ocean Kayak, Eureka!, Minn Kota, Mitchell, and Ross Reels. A marketer at heart, I have extensive experience building brands, developing successful products, and leading entrepreneurial teams with full P&L responsibility. How I Help Students: Over the past six years, I have mentored students through the Cameron Executive Network program. I help students explore career paths, develop a clear job search strategy, strengthen resumes and LinkedIn profiles, prepare for interviews, and confidently execute their internship or full-time job search. My goal is to help students move beyond simply applying for jobs and instead approach their job search with a thoughtful strategy, confidence, and a clear understanding of how they create value for employers.
