Business generalist (MBA) with a concentration in the food retail and distribution industry exceeding 30 years with a foray into heavy manufacturing just to round out my resume. Built my career from a base in accounting and corporate finance through operations having relocated 7 times during my career. My titles included Director of Operations, Vice President of Retail Operations, Vice President Finance, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer across several organizations including public corporations, closely held corporations and private companies. I have also served as an adjunct professor in multiple colleges and universities, serving one year as an Associate Dean responsible for three satellite campuses. Most recent experience has been as a Financial Advisor (1998-2018). Personal interests include: investing and mentoring young business entrepreneurs. Lives in Leland with his wife Gina, having moved from Connecticut in 2008.
