At Mutual of Omaha, I lead the Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, Vendor Management, and Third Party Risk with a focus on collaboration, practical problem-solving, and thoughtful decision-making. I earned my MBA from Kennesaw State University and hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting from the University of South Carolina. I enjoy building strong relationships across business units, suppliers, and leadership teams. My approach to complex sourcing initiatives is collaborative and grounded in helping stakeholders evaluate options, manage risk, and identify opportunities for cost savings, operational efficiency, and improved service delivery. I am also leading work around AI use cases in Procurement, with a focus on how technology can help us work smarter and create more value. Beyond my sourcing responsibilities, I am passionate about helping others grow. I enjoy coaching team members, sharing lessons learned, and creating an environment where people feel supported, challenged, and empowered to develop their skills. I believe growth happens through real-world experience, honest conversation, and a willingness to keep learning. Fun fact: I am a certified USATF Level 1 Running Coach, and I enjoy finding ways to connect wellness, leadership, and personal growth. I also serve on the Mutual of Omaha Well-Being Board, the Gartner Procurement Board, and the Diabetes Association Regional Board. As a mentor, I try to bring a calm, grounded, and encouraging style. I value open conversation, active listening, and helping others think through challenges in a way that leads to growth and clarity.
