Biography
Matt Lastner is an assistant professor of marketing. His research is primarily focused in the area of organizational frontlines, including sales, services, and relationship marketing. His research has been published at various national conferences and journals, including Journal of Business Research, Psychology & Marketing, and Journal of Marketing Education. Before academia, Dr. Lastner worked in sales and operations management. His primary teaching responsibilities are within the sales curriculum, including professional selling and sales management. Dr. Lastner also helps to coach the UNCW sales team. When he isn't working, Dr. Lastner enjoys playing and watching sports, exploring Wilmington, and spending time with his wife and two kids.
