Biography
Dr. Tammy Hunt joined the faculty in 1990 and supports the Management and Leadership and the International Business concentration. She is the Director of the International MBA program in the Cameron School of Business. Her areas of interest include international business, business strategy, ethics/corporate social responsibility, leadership, and team effectiveness. Dr. Hunt has received the Chancellor's Teaching Excellence Award and a UNCW Distinguished Teaching Fellow Award. She has published over 44 papers on strategic decision making, effective teams, management education, and ethics. She serves on the editorial review boards of two management journals and is a member of the Academy of Management, Southern Management Association, Beta Gamma Sigma, and Phi Kappa Phi. Dr. Hunt has led summer study abroad programs for business students to Iceland, Thailand, Vietnam, France, Great Britain, Spain, and Germany. She is the CSB faculty coordinator for International Business Seminars, short-term course credit study abroad programs for graduate and undergraduate students.
