Precision Livestock Management: Revolutionizing Healthcare for Farm Animals through IoMT
The topic is about using the new technologies which have arisen at the dawn of the fourth Industrial Revolution in the areas of agriculture and cattle production to increase production in livestock, and also the implementation of technology in cattle production. IoMT is used to monitor and improve the health and well-being of farm animals.
Unmasking AI Personalities in a Social Experiment
This UNCW study explores how human-like current LLM technologies can be using OpenAI's GPT-4. This study focuses on how capable GPT-4-powered chatbots are of portraying assigned personality types based on the five-factor model. Participants will play a game of Cards Against Humanity: Family Edition with a group of three chatbots.
Cybersecurity
Integrating a Model-Based Systems Engineering Application with a Geographic Information System for Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management
A powerful tool that equips cybersecurity architects with the means to safeguard their organizations. Modern digital enterprises use not only traditional supply chains, but cyber supply chains as well. The cyber supply chain presents a large and porous attack surface that is often exploited by threat actors for illegitimate gain.
NVIDIA Cyber Supply Chain Map
Using Google Earth Pro to display NVIDIA's cyber supply chain. With the use of it's tools, we highlighted key transport suppliers, digital comm. suppliers and threat actors.
Managing Cyber Risk in the Maritime-Transportation System Sector
A look into the cyber risks the MTSS deals with. Views of partnership and enterprise system models.
Interactive Media & Virtual Reality
Exploring Implicit Bias with Virtual Reality
This project aims to measure how users make decisions in a realistic virtual environment to better understand the phenomenon of implicit bias.
Interactive Video Grid
An interactive video grid made of particles that is able to be manipulated with hand tracking.
Visualizing human data using the Emotibit sensor and Touch Designer
Streaming Emoitbit data draws off human interaction and movement and is then visualized in an artistic format using Touch Designer
ISE / Robotics
Robotic arm with grasper
This is a demo for a robotic arm with a grasper that’s a part of a bigger project part of will also be there.
Sana-Solo: An Intelligent Approach to Soil Fertility
My research project, Sana-Solo, is a soil fertility system that measures seven critical physical-chemical parameters in different types of agricultural soil. This system is currently being used to develop a data set for ML implementation.
Shared Control Strategies for Semi-Autonomous Robotic Surgery
We are developing a solution for swapping between manual and autonomous surgery. A medical robot can carry out instructions created by either the surgeon or a program, but there exists moments when the surgeon would prefer to carry out the operation themselves. Our solution aims to minimize potential errors from switching control and provide the surgeon a setup that would increase accuracy.
